Another week down, and the greatness continues to pour in. There are so many people out there who need a little motivation to keep going towards their goals, and I’m here to help. Everyone has a talent they may or may not have discovered. If you haven’t found that hidden talent, keep looking and it will surface. For those who have already found their talent, keep working to perfect your craft and master your field. Your hard work never goes unnoticed.

Here are a few artists who have discovered their talents in the music field, I call them the New Kids On The Block.

Lazy Rios

Example-56

Lazy Rios is the epitome of a creative. He’s clever and has so many silly puns, but he’s also realistic and chill as f*ck. Rios is a blend of so many genres. His music ranges from the type of artist that you can bump in the morning to get your day started to someone you’ll jam to on a roadtrip, or someone you can chill and smoke to. If you need a good vibe and you’re looking for a new artist to listen to, Lazy Rios is that guy!

Mack Benton

Mack Benton is straight out of Buffalo, NY…. and boy is he cold. As a singer, he’s very versatile and he experiments with so many different sounds, making it super easy for him to appeal to all crowds. Benton has featured on hip hop tracks, giving them that extra kick of R&B. Not only does Mack sing the slow jams for the ladies, but he also has a few upbeat club tracks as well. Look out for Mack Benton! He’s definitely on the come up.

GQ Marley

GQ Marley is the epitome of an indie artist. He gives me the feel of an open mic poetic type of rapper. He switches between flows, but keeps his lyricism intact. Even though he’s very original, he reminds me a bit of Childish Gambino with his approach on music, simply because of his nerdy aura. If you’re a fan of the Chance The Rapper / Childish Gambino kind of rapper, you will love GQ Marley!

Skitzo

Skitzo is exactly that. From her crazy colorful music videos to her album covers, her sh*ts trippy. She reminds me a bit of the 90’s Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes. Skitzo makes sure that all of her work is out of the box and off the wall. Some people find it unusual for a female to take such risks with her music, but Skitzo knows no boundaries with her craft. Look out for Skitzo straight from Brooklyn, NY.

Meech Merlo

Meech Merlo is a mixture of both Hip Hop and R&B. He can spit some lyrics on a beat and turn it into a sexy slow jam for the ladies, or he can rap over a track full of bass and make a club banger for everybody. I absolutely love his choice of smooth fluid beats. Meech has his signature sound down packed and clearly knows what works for him. His work shows that he’s ready to take his place in the music industry.
