Capital Steez, a member of the Pro Era crew was one of the greatest rappers out of Flatbush, Brooklyn. I’m not just saying that because we’re from the same neighborhood, but because at the age of 19, he was rapping like an old school 90’s rappers with bars from 2010’s. His lyrics were easy to understand but also witty enough to make you think beneath the surface. This guy was such an inspiration for everyone who represents the “Beast Coast” and then some, not only as an artist but as a person as well.

Sadly, after a self inflicted incident, we’ve lost Steez on Christmas Eve of 2012. His spirit and music will live on forever through his fans and his crew, Pro Era. #LongLiveSteelo

Let’s run that back for Capital Steez. Apex!

Rest In Peace Jamal Dewar.
